SE Asia Day 6 – Monday, 3 February 2014

Ray picked us up in Pattaya at noon yesterday and brought us back to BKK. Although it was Election Day, traffic was good and no streets blocked. I have to say that I have not seen any of the protests. We walked through “protest” areas on Wednesday night but the only evidence I saw/heard was the loud PA system with someone speaking.

Took a nap when we got back (2hr drive). When I woke up I was not feeling well. My stomach was feeling very nauseous. Not long after getting up I got sick. I felt really yecky! Ate some chicken soup and bread. That helped a little. Laid on the couch and watched some TV for a few hours. Went to bed at 2300 and didn’t get out of bed until 1230 today. I did wake up and listen to much of the 2nd half of the football game on XM Radio.

Ate some today and am thankful to be feeling better. I think my sickness may have been that I forgot and brushed my teeth and rinsed with tap water in Pattaya. I guess that’s all it takes. OY!
