Skagway is not a skag town! Beautiful!

Skagway, Alaska
What a FANTASTIC day! Skagway is a beautiful, quaint town on the northern end of the inland passage in SE Alaska. The population is 900 residents but swells many times over with five to six cruise ships in port during the season of mid-May to mid-September when there are 10-15,000 visitors daily!
My excursion today was the White Pass Railroad from Skagway to Fraser, Canada in the Yukon Territory. We took this diesel electric train north up the mountain on east side of the passage, up into Canada then crossed over the gorge and headed south to Fraser. We then transferred to a mini-bus then down the western side of the gorge down the mountain back to Skagway. The weather most of the way up was perfect… chilly, probably in the low 50’s and dry. I stood outside between cars most of the way and filmed quite a bit of video using my iPhone 6S Plus and my LanParte steadicam. I have not used the steadicam that much and wondered if I had made a foolish expenditure. Today proved I had made a GREAT decision as the footage is unbelievably smooth.
I really enjoyed walking the few blocks of the business district. This was a fun, sci-fi like, pic from downtown Skagway.
