Vietnam 2017 – How’ve you been?

17 July 2017 – Monday

I’ve finally found the perfect weather and time of day to be on the roads in Saigon. TWO AM!!! Had a nice two hour flight from Manila. Immigration went smoothly. Don’t ya know the only non-capitalist country in SEA is the most complicated Visa and costs $35 on up. The others I’ve traveled are free Visa for tourists.

Having iced Vietnamese coffee and phở with Derek Cowan. Derek is my Scottish Periscope pal over the past two years. Finally meeting up. The phở was excellent.

Had a really great first night in Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City) Monday evening at a BBQ with Derek Cowan and Eivie. Thanks for the fun! And BEERS! ??

Did a short walk about before the rain today. Spent fun time in a nice café.

Getting my size 15 talons trimmed. No fancy massage chair or fancy foot tub but she’s doing a great job. Bui Vien, District 1, Saigon. 19 July 2017. BTW../ it was 80,000VND/$3.52. Yasss, less than FOUR DOLLARS!!!!

19 July 2017 – Wednesday

Since my first trip to Vietnam three years ago I’ve been amazed at the motorbike traffic. I wanted to try to finally show you just how crazy motorbike traffic is in Vietnam. Here’s a time lapse of about 15 minutes time. Enjoy!! ??
