Mom

Linn called me Saturday morning to let me know Mom was having severe abdominal pain again and she was having her transported to Health Central of Orlando Health System, Ocoee. Mom has had this pain off and on for several months now but it comes and goes… sometimes within a few hours. This time she had not been feeling well since about Thursday and unable to keep any food down. The doctor had examined her a few times and Linn took her to the ER the end of May for evaluation. Nothing was ever found. This time they diagnosed a severe urinary tract infection as well as a twist in her lower colon. The GI doctor came late Saturday afternoon and went in endoscopically and was able to untwist it. The blockage cleared and she was immediately relieved. Thank goodness. They kept her for observation until Tuesday afternoon when she was able to return home!  🙂
